Read the COVID-19 Chronic Condition Patient Population Report
Chronic conditions are the leading cause of disability and death in the United States, and also the primary driver of the nation’s annual healthcare costs. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unique attention to this group, given their vulnerability and high-risk status for severe illness from COVID-19.
To better understand how COVID-19 has impacted the chronic condition population, Wellframe surveyed a group of more than 800 adults in the United States with one or more chronic conditions. The results elucidate how this population has been interacting with the healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic, their confidence in managing their condition and the tools they feel would be most beneficial on their path to better health.
